This multiuse commercial building located in the heart of downtown Chicago embraces the modern industrial style of the city. Located on the 6th and 7th floor of the building, our site has plenty of natural light through the many windows and skylight as well as and sweeping views of the city.
Continuous Movement
Movement is the constant force of progress that drives transformation in all aspects of life. We are surrounded by it in people, places, and concepts. It is the power that gives everything it touches life and transformation, the pulse of creativity, and the rhythm that ties everything together. Every change—no matter how small—builds upon the one before it in this process of growth, adaptation, and creativity. In design, movement reflects this ever-evolving journey, blending form and function to create spaces that are not static but living and responsive. Movement is found in seamless transitions between spaces, the rhythm of elements, and the dynamic energy that guides the user’s experience. It is in the flow of lines, the changes in texture, the dance of light and shadow—each element contributing to a narrative of continual development. In this sense, movement becomes not just action but a metaphor for the ongoing evolution of ideas, environments, and experiences.
VMGROUPE is a New York-based full-service, multi-disciplinary advertising agency whose work is strategy-driven and visually rich. Their team helps define brand story and positioning, grounded in the belief that storytelling is a powerful connector between people and brands. They develop the tools and key visuals needed to clearly express each brand’s essence, creating clarity and simplicity once that foundation is understood.

Reception
VMGROUP’s office lobby features neutral tones and a flowing curved ceiling light that guides movement through the space. A large TV wall introduces visual depth, displaying the firm's past projects, while a stone feature wall with integrated signage defines the reception area. The overall atmosphere is clean, professional, and welcoming.
Client Presentation Room
This space supports collaboration, discussion, and formal presentations. Design elements, such as glass folding doors, enhance openness and allow the space to feel connected and flexible. Intended to promote concentration and clear communication by feeling calm, professional, and intentional.
Cafe
Designed as an in-office café that supports casual interaction, breaks, and informal meetings. Warm wood ceiling elements and integrated lighting create a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, while openness connects the café to surrounding work and meeting areas. The layout encourages conversation and community, offering a comfortable setting for both socializing and everyday use.
Champagne Bar
For a company that loves to celebrate every Friday, this champagne bar was designed for hosting, networking, and celebration. Marble surfaces, warm wood ceiling elements, and sculptural lighting create an elevated yet inviting atmosphere. The bar serves as a social anchor in the office, fostering connection while reinforcing a sense of luxury and brand identity.
