Hélène Darroze is a highly acclaimed French chef known for her Michelin-starred restaurants and modern interpretations of traditional French cuisine. Deeply connected to her southwestern French roots, Darroze emphasizes high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and an emotional, storytelling approach to cooking. Her restaurants offer an elegant yet welcoming dining experience, ensuring that guests feel at home while enjoying meticulously crafted dishes.

Provence, in southeastern France, is a region known for its stunningmix of landscapes—from the Alpsin the north to sunny beaches alongthe Mediterranean. Our restaurant isbased in Aix-en-Provence, a charmingcity full of 17th- and 18th-centurybaroque and rococo architecture,ancient Roman stonework, and classicopen-air markets where you’ll findeverything from fresh fruit and flowersto the calming scent of lavender. Thelandscape is dotted with olive trees,fig orchards, and limestone hills—scenery that has inspired artists forgenerations. Aix is at the heart of oneof Provence’s most important wineregions, part of the Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence AOC, the second-largestappellation in Provence

Step into the world of Hélène Darroze, where every dish tells a story—of memory, tradition, and connection. Inspired by theseasons and grounded in sustainability, the menu celebrates local ingredients brought to life with classic French technique. It’s not just about food; it’s about feeling at home. Dining here is being welcomed into a warm, rustic countryside gathering—unhurried, genuine, and deeply rooted in the land. Each course is a journey through Hélène’s memories, which blends her countryside childhood with refined culinary skills. Think comfort food, but elevated—rich with tradition and served with heart. This is more than a meal. It’s a shared experience that feeds both body and soul, one meaningful bite at a time.

An intimate lounge designed as a transition space before your private dining experience. A fireplace and layered textures create warmth and comfort, while built-in shelving and artwork add a residential, curated feel, as if you are stepping into Hélène’s home. The space invites guests to relax and settle before continuing into the private dining room.

Inspired by the warmth of home and the ritual of gathering around a table, this private dining space emphasizes connection and presence. Natural materials and a softly enclosed layout create an intimate, residential atmosphere. The room invites conversation, storytelling, and shared moments over food.

Natural light and repeated arches shape a dining experience rooted in comfort and connection. Soft textures and warm finishes create an environment that feels both intimate and open. Where dining becomes a shared experience, rooted in storytelling and community.

The Twist-Bar

Inspired by traditional French wine culture, this intimate bar combines warm wood and stone surfaces with curated bottle displays. The design emphasizes craftsmanship and storytelling through materiality and depth. The space encourages lingering, conversation, and connection.
